Keegan Turns 3

It seems like time is flying by faster with each kid.  My sweet Keegan Bradley turns 3 today!  This time 3 years ago I was miserably overdue and ready to get him out of me.  Little did I know what was in store!  Keegan is by far the sweetest kid I have ever known.  He has always been a mama's boy, snuggling me and giving me kisses whenever and wherever I asked.  These days he is attaching himself to Brad more, which is natural and good, so I'm trying to steal as much love as I can.

Keegan has always been a typical laid-back second child.  He goes with the flow and it takes an awful lot to ruffle his feathers.  He plays for hours with his brother and likes Legos, trucks, motorcycles, construction vehicles, and Ninja Turtles.  He is as boy as boy can be and I just love it.  He refuses to be left out of anything because he is a year younger than Jeremiah.  As far as he is concerned, they are the same age and size, which sometimes poses a problem when they play together.  He adores his daddy and wrestles with him as much as possible.  One of his favorite things to do is grab Brad's ankles and let him drag him around the house on his belly.  He loves squeezies (squeezable applesauce), olives, avocados, and yogurt with granola.  He also loves anything sweet, like the rest of our family.

Keegan is very interactive and asks many questions daily such as "what's that smell?" and "what are you doing, mama?"  He is always there to offer help when I'm working on something, whether it be sewing, folding clothes, getting in groceries, or watering flowers.

He loves being outside, especially at the beach.  He enjoys playing in the sand and has recently started playing in the water (while attached to his daddy, of course).

Keegan is such a happy, kind, generous, selfless gift to our little family.  I can't imagine life without his contagious laugh and huge smile.  I am excited to see what God is going to do with his wonderful little heart.

Happy third birthday, sweet Keegan.  We all love you so much!

With love,

Hannah Elise

Jeremiah Turns 4

This sweet, talkative, caring, smart, strong, fun-loving boy turns 4 years old today.

When I found out I was pregnant for the first time, I wanted the baby to be a boy with all of my heart.  God has really blessed me with this little guy.  He was the best baby, always happy and smiling.  As he has passed through his toddler years, he has kept that same joyful spirit.  He is the epitome of a first child:  determined, clever, polite, and a natural leader.

Jeremiah loves all things boy:  playing rough with his brother and Dad, going outside and getting filthy in the mud, making a mess in the bathtub, playing with his trains and trucks, and watching sports with his Dad.  He also loves singing along to music and watching movies.  His favorites are still the Thomas the Train movies but he also love Paw Patrol and Curious George.

We had a birthday party for him last Saturday night.  We usually throw a "just family" party because our family by itself is big enough for a party.  Since I'm expecting David in a month in a half, I decided to keep it simple with Little Caesar's pizza, salad, and Publix cake.  Both sets of grandparents, aunts and uncles, and even a great aunt and uncle were in attendance.  We had tons of fun!

This boy changed our lives forever on June 6, 2013 at 7:51am.  Have a happy birthday, Jeremiah.  We all love you so much, my precious boy!

With love,
